Bilingual Administrative Assistant require providing a variety of administrative, technical support and correspondence tracking service for a Provincial Government client.

Reponsibilities

  • Received and direct in person inquiries from a public facing reception desk
  • Screen and refer phone calls; making decision on correspondence routing; recognizing and expediting calls as required
  • Inputting and tracking data by utilizing the OCMS and CCM systems
  • Manage the correspondence tracking system by updating current files and redirecting filed to the appropriate ministry office
  • Provide word processing support by reviewing documents/presentations; determining appropriate format and most effective layout including graphics, charts, and tables
  • Provide records management service support and other administrative task as required


Qualifications

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in both French and English
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong data entry skills with high regard to accuracy
  • Knowledge of the Online Correspondence Management System (OCMS) or CCM systems is preferred
